What does it take to be an Entrepreneur?

Self-Mastery is the key to success. Da Vinci said," The height of a man's success is gauged by his self-mastery; the depth of his failure by his self-abandonment. To be successful, happy, and determined, you have to excel at the skill of self-mastery. This is a skill that pertains to your everyday life, from your spirituality, what you eat, how you take care of yourself physically, financially, and emotionally, and how you learn new skills and seek knowledge. Self-mastery is a skill that ties into how you handle your work and business. Once you know what your product is, you will want to start by taking a deep dive into developing your industry knowledge. This is key to putting yourself in a position above the rest. Knowing how the market works for your product, understanding the customer complaints, returns, and why they are happening, and being ready to make changes that could benefit you and your product. This can help you succeed in your trade. It will take many hours and a consistent drive to learn this, but having already developed self-mastery, you can use that tool to help you succeed in this goal. Balancing an entrepreneurial work life with family life can be difficult. Make sure you prioritize and make rules to have family time. While you are working to attain industry knowledge and develop your product, you will be working many more hours than you most likely expect to at first. You could easily get lost in your drive to learn, so it is important that you set boundaries for yourself and your family, so you can develop a healthy work/family life balance. To do this correctly, you need to set up rules that you do not break, and while that can be hard, you can also accomplish this with your previous work on self-mastery. ~Elisa~
